The project manager for Township and Village Tourism today conducted an official site inspection at Giant Stadium as preparations intensify for the highly anticipated 2nd Township and Village Tourism Expo 2026.
The Expo will take place in the City of Tshwane on Friday, 6th and Saturday, 7th March 2026, positioning Soshanguve as a strategic hub for township and village tourism growth.
Purpose of the Expo
Hosted by South African Township and Village Tourism Organisation (SATOVITO), the Expo forms part of its national programme aimed at elevating township and village tourism enterprises. The initiative ensures that SMMEs are fully prepared, competitive, and market-ready for both domestic and international tourism platforms.
As SATOVITO’s flagship SME market readiness platform, the Township and Village Tourism Expo is designed to equip businesses with the tools, exposure, and networks required to access high-value opportunities such as:

The Expo focuses on capacity building, networking, promotion, and creating direct linkages between tourism enterprises, buyers, and consumers.
