Born and raised in the village of Mmataboele near Polokwane, Kholofelo Modiba—known on stage as Khosidiva—is steadily carving her place in South Africa’s dynamic Afrohouse and Afro tech music scene. With roots that speak to both Limpopo pride and Gauteng’s energy, Khosidiva’s sets fuse raw rhythm with skillful mixing and a strong understanding of the crowd.
She discovered her passion for DJing in 2017 and has since built a solid performance resume, playing at well-known venues across Limpopo and Gauteng. From Lephalale’s Kolada Café and Zanzou in Pretoria to Propaganda, Sheba Lounge, and News Cafe Boksburg—her current residency—Khosidiva’s performances leave lasting impressions on every dancefloor she graces.
Known for her ability to read a crowd, blend beats with precision, and inject soulful energy into her mixes, she has played at major events such as Danny Dee’s All Black Everything, Gighub live recording sessions, Teyeng Annual Event, and the Urban Sunset Market.
Now, she brings her passion and professionalism to the Cultural Dialogue Event in Mafefe, sharing the stage with fellow rising talent Mofidee. It’s more than just a gig—it’s a celebration of culture, rhythm, and the powerful role of women in South African music.
Whether she’s spinning at a shisanyama in Lebowakgomo or hyping up a festival crowd in Pretoria, Khosidiva’s goal remains the same: to raise the bar, one beat at a time.
