Rihanna, globally celebrated for her music and business ventures, is opening up about her dreams for her family. The singer, who shares two young sons with partner A$AP Rocky—RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 1—recently shared her desire to add a daughter to the family. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, Rihanna talked about her love for motherhood and how her two boys keep life exciting and joyful. Alongside launching her FENTY x PUMA Avanti shoe line, the star shared a glimpse into her life with her family and hopes for the future.
“The best, I live for it. It’s never a dull moment. I love when they climb off the chandeliers,” Rihanna said with a smile. “I love when they literally are so scary that I’m forced to have fun. It’s all fun, it’s all exercise… it works out for both of us.”
When asked about her thoughts on having a little girl, Rihanna’s response was a resounding “Yes!” and she acknowledged it would be an adventure. “I wouldn’t know what to do ’cause I only know about boys so far. It will be a new adventure,” the 36-year-old star said.
Rocky’s Full Circle Romance with Rihanna
The interview follows a recent feature in W Magazine, where Rocky reminisced about their early connection and how they came full circle. In a special moment, Rocky shared how the Mercer Hotel in New York is a significant place for the couple. “This is the first place she fell in love with me,” he revealed, recalling a scene from the 2012 music video for Fashion Killa, directed by the late Virgil Abloh. “That was the same couch where Rihanna and I sat in the first scene… that same room.”
Rihanna and Rocky’s love story began years ago, but they found each other at the right time, building both a family and partnership. And while motherhood has become central to Rihanna’s life, her dreams of adding a daughter mean the singer’s family story is likely just beginning.
