The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) has set the stage for an electrifying showdown as it announced the Top 5 nominees for the 31st South African Music Awards (SAMA31). Three powerhouse acts — Black Motion, Kelvin Momo, and Thandiswa Mazwai — have emerged as joint front-runners, each securing five nominations, marking one of the most competitive editions in recent memory.
Following closely behind, Sjava earned three nominations, while ZamaJobe and Blxckie each landed two, solidifying a diverse and genre-spanning field.
