Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for YouTube influencer Corey Pritchett Jr., who is accused of kidnapping two women during a night out in Houston and fleeing the country shortly after.
Details of the Incident
According to a criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE, the alleged incident occurred on November 23, when Pritchett invited two women for an outing involving ATV riding and a visit to a bowling alley. The women claim that Pritchett’s behaviour became suspicious as he “constantly looked around,” suggesting unease.
The Alleged Kidnapping
The situation escalated when Pritchett allegedly offered to drive the women home but instead pulled a gun on them during the ride. He reportedly threatened the women, stating, “I’m gonna f— y’all and kill y’all,” as per the victims’ account in the complaint.
The victims further allege that Pritchett made a phone call to a woman saved in his contacts as “Future Wife” and asked if he should proceed with harming the women. The woman reportedly encouraged him to “go ahead and do it.”
Pritchett is also accused of confiscating the women’s phones and firing shots out of the car window before releasing them by the roadside. The women contacted authorities soon after the incident, but by the time police began their search, Pritchett had reportedly left the country.
Escape to Dubai
Through Pritchett’s social media posts, authorities discovered that he had purchased a one-way ticket to Qatar in December before traveling to Dubai. While abroad, he shared videos showcasing his luxurious lifestyle and even hinted at purchasing a home in Dubai.
Pritchett Denies Allegations
Pritchett has denied the accusations on social media, calling them a “set-up.” In a TikTok post, he wrote, “Guess I gotta meet with the FBI to see what the fuss about,” and in a separate video, he claimed to be returning to the U.S. However, it remains unclear whether he has followed through on this statement.
Legal Charges
Pritchett faces two counts of aggravated kidnapping, as confirmed by Harris County court records. Meanwhile, two Instagram accounts associated with his YouTube brand have gone inactive.
