Offset is drawing a firm line when it comes to marriage—he’s not interested in walking down the aisle again.
The former Migos member made the revelation while promoting his new album, Kiari, during an appearance on Kyle Forgard’s Full Send Podcast. Asked whether he could see himself tying the knot in the future, Offset didn’t hesitate: “No, it’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete.”
“Everything’s Temporary”
Forgard pressed further, asking the 33-year-old rapper if meeting the right person might change his stance. Offset was blunt in his reply: “Everything’s temporary.”
The “Bodies” hitmaker explained that marriage doesn’t fit the realities of his career, adding that he wouldn’t recommend it to others in the music industry. “No, I’ll tell you don’t get married. I would say unless you’re cool with changing your life. If you got a partner, that’s different. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing. Depends on how we move like our careers … it’s just hard,” he said.
Offset pointed to the demands of his profession as a key reason. “I got to party sometimes, I got to shut down, they come with the career,” he added.
Closing the Chapter with Cardi B
Offset also made it clear that fans shouldn’t expect a reunion with his estranged wife, Cardi B. Speaking to BET, the rapper emphasized that he’s moved on for good.
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be. I just ended the album with [the song] ‘Move On,’ just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on. It’s over and done with. It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
Focus on Music, Not Marriage
While Offset is closing the door on marriage, he’s leaning into his music career. His new album Kiari—named after his birth name, Kiari Kendrell Cephus—offers a personal look at his life, relationships, and growth.
Whether or not fans agree with his views on marriage, Offset’s candor reflects the often complicated balance between fame, family, and personal fulfillment. For now, his message is clear: he’s moving forward, without looking back.
