LL Cool J Wants Snoop Dogg to Play Him in Potential Biopic

In an unexpected twist, iconic rapper LL Cool J has revealed that he wants none other than Snoop Dogg to portray him in a biopic. This revelation follows Snoop Dogg’s earlier interest in bringing LL Cool J’s life story to the big screen.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, LL Cool J was asked about Snoop Dogg’s desire to produce a biopic on his life. The “Saturday Night Special” rapper expressed that the project would only move forward under one unique condition—Snoop Dogg himself must take on the role of LL Cool J. “We’ve talked about it briefly but only under the condition that he actually plays me,” LL Cool J said. “I need Snoop Dogg to be LL Cool J in my biopic. I need that! Snoop, would you play me in the biopic? You can produce it if you do that.”

Despite the enthusiasm surrounding the idea, LL Cool J admitted that he has mixed feelings about turning his life story into a film. “I’m open to it, but I’m not gonna lie to you, it bores me a little bit,” he shared. “I have mixed emotions about it. I just have a lot to do creatively, and I feel like I can do a lot. It’s not that I’m against it. I’m open to doing a documentary, I’m open to the idea of doing a biopic. But it just doesn’t excite me.”

I can’t tell mine without telling yours first ‘cause it would be no me without you,” Snoop Dogg said in an interview with Rock The Bells.

When the topic of casting came up, Snoop Dogg humorously suggested that an actor from London might portray LL Cool J, saying in a British accent, “He’s going to come over here and play LL Cool J. When you say action, that n**ga gon’ sound like he from Queens. When you say cut, ‘Okay, get me some tea.’”
