K.O and Nasty C’s ‘Too Much’ Hits Over 1 Million Views in Just Two Weeks

South African hip-hop icons, K.O and Nasty C, have once again set the scene ablaze with their latest collaboration, Too Much. In just two weeks since its release, the track has already surpassed a staggering 1 million views on YouTube, marking it as a major success for both artists. Fans have been quick to label the song a hit, praising the synergy between the two rappers.

This is the duo’s second collaboration in nearly a decade, with their first team-up being on DJ Vigilante’s Bang Out almost ten years ago. The new track, which also features contributions from Skhandaworld, has garnered 1.1 million views and is currently the fifth most trending video on YouTube.

K.O recently spoke to TshisaLIVE about the significance of the collaboration, emphasising how it brings together the unique lyrical depth of Nasty C with his own energetic style. He remarked on how important this moment is for South African hip-hop.

“This collaboration is a significant moment in the country’s hip-hop, combining the lyrical depth of Nasty C with my energetic flair,” K.O was quoted as saying.

Nasty C’s verse has also stirred interest, particularly as he gets personal by referencing his baby mama, Sammie Heavens, and their son, Oliver. The rapper reflects on the privileges he’s able to offer his son, thanks to his career in music.

With its growing popularity and continued buzz, Too Much is shaping up to be one of the biggest South African hip-hop tracks of the year, showcasing the power of collaboration between two of the country’s most influential artists.
