Court Document Reveals P Diddy Paid $1 Million for Tupac Assassination

Sean “Diddy” Combs faces scrutiny over allegations of involvement in Tupac Shakur’s murder, with court documents naming him 77 times and gangster Duane “Keefe D” Davis accusing him of paying 1 million USD for the hit. Sean “Diddy” Combs is under intense scrutiny following revelations in a new court document that implicates him in the 1996 assassination of rapper Tupac Shakur. The document, obtained by The U.S. Sun, names Combs 77 times and accuses him of paying 1 million USD for the hit on Tupac, according to allegations made by Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is currently being prosecuted for the murder.

This development adds to a series of legal challenges for Combs, including recent federal investigations and multiple lawsuits alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking. Combs has consistently denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder, and his representatives have not commented on the latest filings.

The court papers shed light on the deadly rivalry between Combs’ Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Death Row Records on the West Coast, led by Marion “Suge” Knight. This rivalry culminated in Tupac’s fatal shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996.

In the documents, prosecutors allege that Keefe, along with the Los Angeles police task force, traveled to New York undercover to gather evidence against Combs and another gangster, Eric “Zip” Martin. The investigation claimed jurisdiction due to the alleged conspiracy beginning in California.

Keefe, in various interviews and a “Surreptitiously Recorded Interview” with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police in 2009, asserted that Combs expressed a desire for Suge Knight and Tupac to be killed. Keefe recounted how his nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson shot at Tupac and Knight following a Mike Tyson fight, allegedly on Combs’ orders.

One notable interview transcript included in the documents details Keefe’s interaction with police, where he stated, “Puffy Combs….Does he play a role in this thing?…” to which Keefe replied, “Yeah, I think he did.” Keefe further claimed that Combs paid 1 million USD for the hit, although the money was ultimately paid to Zip.

Keefe expressed regret over his involvement, lamenting, “I wish I never met Puff Daddy, period. I swear to God…He messed up my life, man. I was, I was rich, up under the radar, all that, man…it’s all gone.”

The document, part of the prosecution’s effort to oppose Keefe’s bail request, highlights the complexity of the case and the ongoing quest for justice for Tupac Shakur. Keefe’s bail was previously rejected due to concerns over the source of the money and potential plans to monetize his life story. A reconsideration hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

Keefe’s lawyer, Carl Arnold, has yet to comment on the latest filing but previously expressed optimism about Keefe’s potential release and the possibility of securing TV and movie deals before his trial in November.

The U.S. Sun initially reported the allegations against Diddy last October and released explosive audio tapes earlier this year, intensifying public interest in the case and the pursuit of answers in the long-standing mystery of Tupac Shakur’s murder.
