Chrisean Rock Faces Sentencing and Further Legal Issues

Reality star and rapper Chrisean Rock, also known as Chrisean Malone, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and 12 months of probation for a November assault on dancer James Wright. Additionally, she faces an outstanding felony warrant in Oklahoma related to drug charges.

Reality star and rapper Chrisean Rock, whose real name is Chrisean Malone, is facing serious legal repercussions following a November assault incident. The 24-year-old has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and 12 months of probation for her involvement in an altercation with dancer James Wright. This incident, which took place on November 10 at the Novo in downtown Los Angeles, resulted in Wright suffering two broken teeth after Rock allegedly struck him repeatedly in the face while wearing rings. Wright, who was performing with singer Tamar Braxton at the time, has also filed a lawsuit against Rock.

The sentencing occurred on June 14 at the San Fernando Valley courthouse, where Rock was initially present to support her on-and-off-again boyfriend, rapper Blueface, who was there for his probation violation proceedings. However, Rock was subsequently arrested due to her legal issues.

Rock entered a no-contest plea ahead of her sentencing, which led to her 30-day jail term and probation. Furthermore, she has been ordered to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from both Wright and the Novo.

In addition to this case, Rock’s legal troubles are compounded by an outstanding felony warrant in Oklahoma. This warrant is potentially connected to her probation stemming from a 2022 arrest in Oklahoma, where she faced charges including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled, dangerous substance. The specifics of her extradition to Oklahoma remain uncertain at this time.

Chrisean Rock’s ongoing legal battles highlight the complexities and challenges that come with fame, as she navigates both her career and personal life under intense public scrutiny.
