Cape Town’s Ellerman House Ranked Third-Best Hotel in the World

Cape Town’s luxurious Ellerman House has been ranked the third-best hotel globally in The Telegraph’s 2024 list of the World’s 50 Best Hotels. Known for its breathtaking sea views and rich collection of South African art, this prestigious hotel has now added another feather to its cap, cementing its place as a global favourite.

Ellerman House offers a refined experience with only 13 rooms and two opulent, multi-level luxury villas. Guests are treated to a one-of-a-kind stay that includes complimentary extras such as art tours and sunset beverages. Another stand-out feature is the hotel’s impressive wine gallery, which boasts over 9,000 bottles of fine South African wine.

This isn’t the first time Ellerman House has been in the spotlight this year. The hotel was named Best City Hotel in Africa in the 2024 Travel + Leisure ‘World’s Best Awards’ and also ranked as the fifth-best hotel in South Africa by the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2024.
