Soulja Boy Sues Tasha K for Defamation Over Interview Claiming Sexual Encounter with Man

Soulja Boy is taking legal action against gossip blogger Tasha K and William The Baddest for allegedly making false statements about him having a sexual encounter with a man. This lawsuit marks the second time Tasha K has been sued by a celebrity for defamation. Soulja Boy, the popular rapper known for hits like “Kiss Me Thru the Phone,” has filed a defamation lawsuit against Tasha K and William The Baddest. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles court on Tuesday, revolves around a May 16 interview on Tasha K’s “Catch The Tea Podcast,” where William The Baddest allegedly detailed an explicit and false account of a romantic encounter with Soulja Boy.

Soulja Boy’s legal team argues that these unfounded remarks have caused significant damage to his reputation and career. The lawsuit states that these statements have brought “embarrassment and disgrace,” potentially leading fans to withdraw their support. According to Soulja Boy’s lawyers, the allegations aim to sabotage his career by portraying him falsely as dishonest and fraudulent in the entertainment industry.

During the interview, William The Baddest allegedly recounted an intimate encounter with the rapper, stating, “So I walked over there, I get on my knee, he’s sitting on the edge of his bed. I started giving him oral, it’s a big thang and it grew, you know to the left.” Following the interview, Soulja Boy claims that William continued to harass him on social media, including posting a “defaming and embarrassing sexual photoshopped picture” on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Despite the removal of the interview video from Tasha K’s YouTube channel, Soulja Boy’s lawyers emphasize that the damage has been done, stating, “Although the publications may be deleted, plaintiff will forever be damaged by the publications never being removed from the web.”

This lawsuit is not Tasha K’s first brush with defamation claims. In 2022, she faced a nearly $4 million defamation verdict against her in a case brought by Cardi B over offensive comments regarding STDs, prostitution, and drugs.
