The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) has officially opened applications for its 2025 Scholarship Programme, aimed at supporting young South African learners in Grades 8 to 12.
The programme is part of SANRAL’s commitment to developing the country’s future talent—regardless of subject choice—by providing comprehensive financial assistance to learners attending registered South African schools.
What the SANRAL Scholarship Covers
Selected learners will receive funding that may include:
- ✅ School fees and boarding school fees (where applicable)
- ✅ School and sports uniforms
- ✅ Books and stationery
- ✅ Reputable school transport
- ✅ Extra lessons in Mathematics and Science
- ✅ School registration fees
- ✅ Access to SANRAL’s Wellness Programme
Learners with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Who Can Apply?
- South African citizens currently in Grade 8 to Grade 12
- Learners enrolled at a registered South African school
- Applicants from all subject streams are eligible

- 🔴 Closing Date: 30 September 2025
- 📅 Notification Deadline: If you have not received feedback by 31 January 2026, please consider your application unsuccessful.

- 🎓 Limited Awards: Funding is limited, and demand is high. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
- 💬 No Application Fee: SANRAL does not charge any fees for scholarship or bursary applications.
- 📢 No Individual Feedback: Due to the high volume of applications, SANRAL will not respond to individual inquiries regarding application status.
