In a surprising twist, Michael Ilesanmi, a prominent figure from "90 Day Fiancé," has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his ongoing legal battle against Angela Deem.

Reality TV star Michael Ilesanmi, known for his role on TLC’s hit show “90 Day Fiancé,” has turned to the public for financial support as he faces a legal battle against his estranged wife, Angela Deem.

In a surprising twist, Michael Ilesanmi, a prominent figure from “90 Day Fiancé,” has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his ongoing legal battle against Angela Deem. The Nigerian native has so far raised over R208,850 out of his R474,500 goal, as he fights to clear his name against serious allegations made by his estranged wife.

Ilesanmi took to the fundraising platform on Tuesday, August 13, to explain his predicament. “Hi, I am Michael Ilesanmi from TLC’s TV show ‘90 Day Fiancé.’ I have been put in a situation where I unfortunately have to ask for help,” he wrote in his heartfelt plea. “Due to the recent legal filings by Angela against me, I must seek legal advice. I have obtained an attorney, but the fees are expensive. I have a legal battle to fight, and that fight will be expensive. I am asking all my fans to help—whatever you can give, I would deeply appreciate. I understand all of us are having hard times, and I hate to ask others for money support, but it seems like due to the legal actions brought against me, I have to ask. Thank you all, and God Bless.”

The legal dispute stems from allegations made by Angela Deem in June, when she filed for an annulment of their marriage. Deem, who has been a contentious figure on the show, accused Ilesanmi of fraudulently entering into the marriage with the sole purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States. Furthermore, she alleged that Ilesanmi was part of a larger conspiracy with other Nigerian men to deceive U.S. citizens into marriage for immigration benefits.

However, recent developments have cast doubt on Deem’s claims. During a recent episode of “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?,” a private investigator hired by Deem herself revealed that there was no evidence to support her accusations. The investigator found no proof that Ilesanmi had scammed Deem, cheated on her, or acted unethically in their marriage.

As the legal battle unfolds, Ilesanmi’s GoFundMe campaign highlights the financial burden he faces in defending himself against the serious accusations. His public appeal has already garnered significant support from fans who believe in his innocence and want to see him get a fair chance in court.
